Credible: from the Latin crēdere — “to believe”
Voices all around are filling our ears with ideas and opinions on every imaginable topic. Somehow, we sort through this massive bulk of information making qualitative judgments along the way. We want to know truth and discard the false, but we've all had experiences when we've done exactly the opposite.
The stakes are never higher than when the truth claims being evaluated are of an eternal nature. The credibility of the voices informing our conscience, world-view, and theology is of the utmost importance. Thank God, for His infallible, inerrant word! We don't have to be like Pontius Pilate, asking ourselves "what is truth?" We have the written word in which we can actually read the words of The Word who became flesh.
Thank God, for His infallible, inerrant word! Amen!! :-)
